Jo, who also goes by Duchess of Doggos, Countess of Cats, Booper of Snoots, and Lover of Floofs; has been in the pet industry most of her life, in one capacity or another, with many different hobbies and jobs.

She grew up on a farm; helped at her father’s kennel with various tasks including training and grooming; worked in a veterinary clinic; has volunteered at pet shelters; was a pet sitter for many years; and has even dabbled in pet photography.

She has finally found a home for her heart in working with families to keep their pets healthy and thriving. By keeping them out of the vet’s office and off medications, while improving their quality of life, it completes the circle of giving back to them for all the love and comfort they give to us. The animals are the core reason for everything she does and the soul of all her business.

After growing up in New England, she currently lives in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with her husband, their 3 cats (Dobby, Trouble, and BabyGirl), and their dog (BuddyLove).

Jo has her hands in some other things, including hosting Selling on the Spot Marketplace events as a licensee. She is a business connector and guide, and a networking tutor, helping other entrepreneurs find resources and relationships to grow and thrive in today’s complex digital business environment.
